What does a typical workday look like?
I start in the morning with any urgent issues and then move on to everything else that needs to be addressed. Lots of communicating with the customers and suppliers and interacting with the QTM sales and internal team to complete tasks and keep QTM moving in the right direction. I really enjoy traveling to meet with customers and suppliers in person.

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

We have an amazing group in our office! I love coming into work every day and collaborating with like-minded people to get the job done in the best possible way for our customers.

 

What is your number one business philosophy?
Respond quickly.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?
My happy place is floating on a boat in the ocean. I also love foodie experiences and family vacations.

Kevin Para

What does a typical workday look like?

Supporting outside sales efforts, managing direct accounts and sales, tech support for sellers and customers, and material formulation.

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?
We have great people here who are fun and care about the QTM team and customers. I enjoy coming in every day knowing we can compete against the big box competitors.

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

The customer is number one. Let’s make number one happy, and QTM wins.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Family vacations are fun. We recently got into boating, which is great for the family and has no shortage of projects (repairs). I also enjoy race car fabrication, building, CNC machining, and welding. 

Jose Saucedo

What does a typical workday look like?
Getting deliveries made before noon if possible; in the afternoon, I focus on preparing orders for the next day, completing paperwork, and checking emails.

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

The positive work environment and great leadership. 

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

Exceed customers’ expectations.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Attending LA Galaxy soccer game with family, seeing my boys’ soccer games on weekends, watching tv shows and movies with family, exploring local breweries and going to concerts.

Lisa Mac

Director of Administration  /  With QTM Since 2011

What does a typical workday look like?

Every day is different. I can be running labs one day and stuffing boxes another day to help with inventory. I also keep QTM current on certifications, regulations, trademarks, etc. Mostly support the day-to-day operations to keep a smooth running office.

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

I love the QTM team! Everyone here is a family. The customers are great. It is rare to leave QTM and have a bad day. 

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

Your reputation is your integrity – don’t compromise it.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spending time with my family and sharing new experiences with them, concerts, baking and cooking for family and friends. I make an unforgettable mango margarita!

Chad Han

What does a typical workday look like?

Checking emails, reviewing the day’s to-do list, discussing active programs with the team, setting up meetings with customers and vendors, following up with customers, quoting, and cold calls.

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

The people! I love the team; it makes it easy to do business when you have a great group. Also, providing solutions for customers, customer dinners, negotiating business deals, and being a part of QTM’s growth.

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

Always try to improve the relationship.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Hanging out with my two boys, riding bikes into town to grab lunch or dinner; exercise and just being active. The QTM boat is nice, too! 

Lorenzo Garcia

Director of Sales Engineering   /  With QTM Since 2024

What does a typical workday look like?

Every day is a bit different.  I spend time meeting with clients, helping with sales and engineering needs, and solving any issues that come up so that things keep running smoothly for our clients. 

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

I love the team here! QTM really feels like a family, and it’s awesome to work with people who care so much about doing a great job for our clients.

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

Honesty and integrity come first in everything I do with our clients.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy traveling with my wife, having dinner with friends and family, and just having a good time.

Steve Inge

Business Development   /  With QTM Since 2019

What does a typical workday look like?

Having a cup of coffee with my wife and reading something inspiring! Then, reviewing the previous day’s work, planning sales calls and meetings. I make an effort to call one customer every hour. 

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

The core team is great and easy to work with. We have the heart to work with family-size businesses and the engineering experience and expertise to work with the largest OEMs.

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

Do your best to make someone laugh or smile, and always remember it doesn’t matter who you are – no one’s above common courtesy.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Vacationing with my wife and family, helping run a motorcycle ministry, teaching my grandson martial arts and how to shoot a bow, playing music for the church, enjoying the outdoors, and being thankful.

TJ Clasby

Logistics Manager  /  With QTM Since 2022

What does a typical workday look like?

Coordinating pickups and drop-offs with customers and vendors and processing orders.

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

The sense of family and that we all have each other’s backs.

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

Treat every customer like they are your most important customer.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Golfing, dirt bike riding with friends, and working on project cars. 

Nayely Fernandez

Operations Assistant   /  With QTM Since 2024

What does a typical workday look like?

Confirming orders, answering phone calls, filing documents, maintaining updated inventory and providing support to the QTM team.

 

What is your favorite part about working at QTM?

QTM has such a welcoming and positive vibe! It’s truly a joy to be in an environment where everyone treats each other with kindness and respect.

 

What is your number one business philosophy?

Always treat everyone with kindness and respect.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy Disney trips, biking at the beach and taking nature walks, especially during sunset. I also love having movie nights at home with my family.
